Put your own challenge track in front of students

KEAN CTF 2027 is a beginner-friendly CTF at Kean University. Sponsors don't just put a logo on a banner. You bring a set of challenges, students work through them, and you see who solved them.

the sponsor track

Your challenges, your section of the board

A sponsor track is a short series of challenges you write (or we help you write), shown as its own section on the scoreboard with your name on it.

  • Your own section

Your track appears as a dedicated, named section on the challenge board, next to the main categories.

  • See who solved it

After the event you get a solve report: which teams and players solved each of your challenges, and when.

  • Teach what you care about

Cloud misconfigs, log analysis, phishing triage, secure code review. Pick the skill you wish new hires had.

other ways to take part

Talent access, workshops, judging, prizes

opt-in only

Participant profiles and resumes

Students choose whether to share a profile and resume with sponsors. You see the ones who said yes, along with what they solved. Nobody is opted in by default.

teach

Host a workshop

Run a short hands-on session before or during the event. Beginner topics go over best: tools, a walkthrough, or what the job really looks like.

judge

Join the judging panel

Help judge write-ups or any special awards. The main scoreboard is automatic, so judging covers extras only.

reward

Give prizes

Sponsor prizes for top teams, the best beginner team, or first solve on your track. Gift cards, gear, or certification vouchers all work.

Company FAQ

What you get, what you don't, and how we protect students.

What participant data do we get?
For your track: team names and which teams or players solved which of your challenges, and when. For talent access: only the profiles and resumes of students who opted in to share them with sponsors. Nothing else. We don't sell or hand over email lists, and we don't share data from students who didn't opt in.
Can students opt out after the event?
Yes. Sharing is opt-in and students can change their mind. If someone withdraws, we stop sharing their profile and ask sponsors to delete any copy they already have.
Do you guarantee hires, interviews, or attendance numbers?
No. We'll share our honest headcount estimate and the real numbers after the event, but we can't promise hires, interviews, or a minimum turnout. Those aren't for sale.
Can we write our own challenges?
Yes, that's the point of a sponsor track. Our team reviews every challenge before it's published: it has to be solvable, fair, safe to host, and fit the event's skill level. We may ask for changes, and we can help you scope the difficulty.
Who hosts the challenge infrastructure?
Usually we do, on the event platform, so it gets the same isolation and monitoring as everything else. If your challenge needs special infrastructure, talk to us early.
Can we buy a judging seat or a winner?
Judging and scoring are run by the organizers. The scoreboard is automatic, and no package changes scores or rankings.
What does it cost?
Package prices and contents are still being finalized. Reach out and we'll share the current options.
